Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Help

Follow colleagues and records with Activity Feeds

Can I do this task?

When you first install Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, Activity Feeds is available and turned on by default, though it is a solution and you will administer it as you would any other solution.

In Activity Feeds, you can stay up to date by viewing posts about colleagues and records. To do this, follow the users and records that you want to know more about. You can follow up to 1,000 colleagues and records, but no more, so make sure to follow only what you care most about.

Follow a colleague

  1. Click Advanced Find.
  2. In the Look for list, click Users.
  3. In the Show group, click Results.
  4. Open the record that you want from the list.
  5. In the user's record, on the right side of the Record Wall, click Follow.
  6. To stop following a colleague, repeat the steps and then click Unfollow. You can follow the user again in the future.

Follow a record

  1. Click Advanced Find.
  2. In the Look for list, click the type of record you want to look up.
  3. In the Show group, click Results.
  4. Select the name that you want from the list.
  5. In the user's record, on the right side of the Record Wall, click Follow.
  6. To stop following a record, repeat the steps and then click Unfollow. You can follow the record again in the future.
