Deactivate or activate a product

Can I do this task?

If you must remove a product, it is better to deactivate the product rather than delete it. When you delete a product, the product and all associated information such as substitutes, kits, and price list items are lost.

  1. In the Navigation Pane, click Settings, click Product Catalog, and then click Products.
  2. In the Products list, select the product that you want.
  3. On the Actions toolbar, click More Actions, and then click one of the following:
    • Deactivate

      - OR -

    • Activate
  4. In the confirmation dialog box, click OK.
  5. Click Save or Save and Close.

Note

To view deactivated products, in the View list select Inactive Products.
