The base language determines default settings for regional and language options in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. You select your organization's base language during the purchasing process for a subscription to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. After the base language is set, it cannot be changed.
You can enable or disable available languages in the Settings area. More information: Language Settings Dialog Box
Similar to setting the base language, you select your organization's base currency during the purchasing process for a subscription to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. After the base currency is set, it cannot be changed.
However, if your organization uses more than one currency to track financial transactions, you can add more currencies to your implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. More information: Language Settings Dialog Box
Currency records include details about the currency, including:
When you save financial information in a record, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online converts the monetary values in the record to the base currency. This conversion ensures that all financial information is available in one currency for reports and other types of data analysis.
You cannot delete currency records that are being used by other records, such as opportunities or invoices. However, you can deactivate unnecessary currency records, and they will no longer be available in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online for future transactions.
If a deactivated currency record becomes necessary again, you can reactivate it.
