Enable or disable a user record

Can I do this task?

You can disable a user's record to prevent the user from being able to access Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. You can only disable a user record, not delete it.

If you enable a disabled user record, you must send a new invitation for the user to access the system. More information: Invite Someone to Use Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Online

  1. In the Navigation Pane, click Settings, click Administration, and then click Users.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Enable a user's record
      1. In the View list, select Disabled Users.
      2. In the list of users, select the user records that you want to enable.
      3. On the More Actions menu, click Enable to enable the selected user records.
      4. In the confirmation message, click OK.
    • Disable a user record
      1. In the list of users, select the user records that you want to disable.
      2. On the More Actions menu, click Disable to disable the selected user records.
      3. In the confirmation message, click OK.
