In this short video, we will show you how to complete the initial login to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. When you signed up for the system, you would receive an e-mail which provides you with some background information and most importantly a link on where you can access Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. You will then be asked to set a base currency for your organization. This currency is what is used in all the financial transactions including quotes, sales orders, and invoices.
The hyperlink is clearly displayed within your e-mail. You can then click on that link and it will actually load the CRM Online system. You will then be presented with your login screen. Here’s where you’ll put your Windows Live ID, Windows Live e-mail address, that is, and your password. Then click the Sign In button.
This takes you to an initial configuration screen. You are only presented with this with the very first login to the system and it’s here where we set our base currency. I then click the Select button next to the Currency Code, and I will then be presented with a list of currencies to choose from. In this particular example, I am going to scroll down and I’m going to pick United States Dollar as the base currency for this system. I scroll down, find that particular currency, click on that link, and then click the OK button.
Once I’ve clicked that, all I have to do now is click the Save the selected base currency link which is below where you filled in the currency code. That completes setting the base currency.
