Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online is an Internet-based, on-demand service with specific system requirements. It requires occasional maintenance during which time the service is not available.
System requirements
This section describes the system requirements to run Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online.
The following operating systems are supported for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Web application:
- Windows 7
- Microsoft Windows Vista
- Windows XP Professional SP2 or SP3
- Windows XP Tablet PC Edition SP2 or SP3
- Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
In addition, the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Web application requires one of the following Internet Explorer Web browser versions:
- Internet Explorer 8
- Internet Explorer 7
- Internet Explorer 6 with SP1
Note
Microsoft Windows 2000 editions are not supported for installing and running the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Web application.
Important
All prerelease versions of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online for Outlook, E-mail Router, and Data Migration Manager must be uninstalled before the current versions of these add-ins can be installed.

This section describes the system requirements to run Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online for Microsoft Office Outlook.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online for Microsoft Office Outlook can be installed on computers that have any combination of the following:
Windows operating systems:
- Windows 7
- Microsoft Windows Vista SP2
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3
- Microsoft Windows XP Home SP3
Microsoft Office:
- 2007 Microsoft Office system SP2
- Microsoft Office 2003 SP3

Scheduled maintenance
From time to time, the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online team performs maintenance on the service. During this time, you may not be able to access your Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online organization. To minimize the impact to your business, the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online team will make every effort to keep maintenance activities isolated to a scheduled maintenance window.
The scheduled maintenance window is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM PST to 10:00 PM PST, as needed. Subscribers will be notified in advance of scheduled maintenance by e-mail or on the notification page.
