This task requires the System Administrator or System Customizer security role A defined set of privileges. The security role assigned to a user determines which tasks the user can perform and which parts of the user interface the user can view. All users must be assigned at least one security role in order to access the system. or equivalent permissions. Customization tasks can be performed only while you are online. To publish customizations for the entity your are currently editing, on the Actions menu, select Publish.
To publish customizations for all entities at once, open the Customize Entities list. On the More Actions menu, click Publish All Customizations.
To publish customizations for specific entities at once, open the Customize Entities list and select the entities you want to publish. On the Actions toolbar, click Publish.
Open the entity you want to customize, and then under Details, click Relationships.
In the Type box, select Mappable.
Select a mappable relationship, then on the Actions toolbar, click More Actions, and then click Edit.
Under Details, click Mappings.
For each new mapping, on the Actions toolbar, click New.
In the Create attribute mapping dialog box, select the source attribute from Source Entity Attributes; select the target attribute from Target Entity Attributes; and then click OK.
To publish customizations for the entity your are currently editing, on the Actions menu, select Publish.
To publish customizations for all entities at once, open the Customize Entities list. On the More Actions menu, click Publish All Customizations.
To publish customizations for specific entities at once, open the Customize Entities list and select the entities you want to publish. On the Actions toolbar, click Publish.
Notes
After publishing customizations, mappings will be available for all users. If you reset Internet Information Services for any reason before you publish customizations, mappings will be available for all users, even though other customizations will not be available.
It is possible to automatically create mappings for the relationship but this is usually not recommended. This process will map any mappable attributes based only on the datatype and name of the attribute. All existing mappings are removed.
In the Relationship form, on the Actions toolbar, click More Actions.
Click Generate Mappings.
You cannot map to or from an a field that is not displayed on a form.
