Maximize your time by printing a report of phone-call activities to make while waiting for your kids to finish up practice or before a meeting starts. Using Advanced Find, you decide what data to display in your activities list, so that you have the information you need for each call.
On the Standard toolbar, click Advanced Find.
In the Look for list, select Phone Calls.
In the Use Saved View list, select My Phone Calls.
Below the Activity Status, click Select, choose Due, point to Enter Value, click the Calendar, and then select today's date.
Note
You can modify the date information to produce results that are best for you. For example, if you want phone calls going back in time, from today, select On or Before, and then select today's date.
Click Edit Columns.
In the Edit Columns dialog box, click Add Columns.
If you include information about calls in the Description box, you can include it in your report. To do this, in the Add Columns dialog box, under Record Type, select the Description check box, and then click OK. Scroll to see the Description column.
In the Edit Columns dialog box, in the Common Tasks area, you can make the following changes:
To relocate or move a column, point to a column, and then click the forward or backward arrow.
To configure the sort order, click Configure Sorting, select a column list, and then select the column topic that you want to be the default sort column. You can also change the default Ascending Order to Descending Order.
To add a column, click Add Columns, select the Record Type, and then click OK.
To change the column widths, select a column, click a Change Properties, select a width, and then click OK.
To remove a column, select a column, click Remove, and then click OK.
When you are done, click OK to return to the Find tab.
To save the updated query as a view you can use repeatedly, such as Printable list of calls for today, click Save As.
In the Query Properties dialog box, provide a Name and Description, and then click OK to save the information. The name appears in the Use Saved View list.
Click Find.
