Microsoft Dynamics CRM was designed to be intuitive, so you can figure out how to perform many tasks quickly on your own. And once you learn how to work in one area, you will find that other areas look and work about the same. But anytime you need more information, CRM helps you get the answers you need.

In this video, you'll learn where to find help when you need it, and where to go for additional information to do more with CRM.

Once you've started using CRM, you'll find there are several places where you can go for help, the first being Help. Let's say you're a salesperson, and you want to know how to add a product to an opportunity. Click Help. Here, you can choose whether you want general product information, specific information about how to use the application, or information specific to the page you're on. It sounds like this choice will get us to the information the quickest.

The list shows the topics related to the tasks that you want to perform when working with an opportunity. And there it is – "Add or remove a product". You choose the information you want to see. As you read through the topic, you can click links. Some links reveal more information. Other links open related topics. Use the arrows to move between the topics you have selected.

If you want information that is outside the scope of a topic, you can click Show Contents to navigate to the Help table of contents. Or, simply type one or more words in Search for help topics, and then choose the topic you want. This icon means that a special security role is required to perform the tasks described in the topic.

Help is a good place to find information about using the features in the application. Another place to look is the Resource Center. Here you'll find new ways to use CRM, videos to help you with specific tasks – including the video you're watching now – and ways to get started, maximize your productivity, and build your business.

Use the navigation links to find information specific to the area you're interested in. If you're connected to the Internet, you'll receive the latest updates, including important information about the software and new ideas for using CRM. Check the forums and communities to learn how to get the most from CRM and share your thoughts and feedback with other users. Read the CRM team blogs, written by members of the CRM product team, MVPs, and partners, and use Search to find information across Resource Center articles, Help, the CRM Forum, and CRM Community.

If you still can't find what you're looking for after searching Help and the Resource Center, you can use the feedback form at the bottom of every help topic or Resource Center article to ask your question. Add specific suggestions and comments if you want, then click Send Feedback.

If you seem to be missing fields described in Help or can't find Help for a field, your CRM application may have been customized by your organization. If this is the case, contact your system administrator.

And finally, to receive product support, in the Resource Center, click Open new support request.

Microsoft provides the CRM application to help your business grow, and the answers to make it work for you.
