Good marketing enables you to drive interest in your products and services, ensuring future sales for your organization. High-quality lists of potential customers are critical to the success of any marketing effort. A marketing list is a collection of customers grouped by demographics and needs.
In Microsoft Dynamics CRM, you use marketing lists for grouping leads, contacts, or accounts. You can include marketing lists in marketing campaigns, send e-mail blasts to the people in your marketing lists, create batches of activities for the customers in your lists, and bulk-qualify leads.
There are three ways to create marketing lists in CRM. You can transfer a list from Excel, create an empty list and add records to it later, or add the search results of an Advanced Find query to a list.
You can also add records to an existing marketing list by selecting multiple records and adding them all at once, or adding individual records as you identify people who should be on that list.
To keep your marketing lists fresh, you can merge multiple marketing lists, or fine-tune and prune marketing lists by applying new criteria.
With up-to-date marketing lists in Microsoft Dynamics CRM that target the right audiences, you ensure a steady flow of business for your organization.
